His industry experience includes oil & gas, banking, insurance, medical, and utilities.

Professional Experience

• Over 25 years of experience in the design, planning, engineering, and project management of Telecommunications networks.
• Implemented international communications networks between North America, Europe, and Asia, using high speed links over satellite and submarine cables
• Negotiations of Wide Area Network contracts with Tier 1 Carriers resulted in client savings of $3 million.
• As a Senior Network Engineer, Mr. Remtulla designed and built a large fully digital network using state of the art switching and transmission technologies
• Analysis and optimization of enterprise voice/data networks have resulted in average savings of 30 - 40%.
• Developed and managed the RFP process for a major bank with over 150 locations to migrate to an IP voice and data network.
• Negotiated a Frame contract with carefully planned migration to IP-VPN and VoIP, saving millions in the interim with significant savings pending after the transition.
• As a Technical Advisor, Taki assesses the technological and cost impact of introducing new services and technologies on existing communications networks.
• Managed a $22 million project for the upgrade and extension of a major carrier Telecommunications Network
• Provided consultation to Executive Management on the strategic direction of the communications industry and the development of telecommunications infrastructure.
• As a Chief Technology Officer of a high tech start up, Taki closely worked with Nortel Networks in the design and funding for an all fiber based community network.
• Taki advised a client with 350 locations on their upgrade to an all Cisco Network improving efficiencies and security thereby paving the way for IP-VPN and VoIP
