Hans With a doctoral degree in Psychology, a minor in computer science and mathematical statistics and with 25 years of professional experience in the Telecommunications industry, Hans can handle the most complex challenge. His ability to provide a clear definition of the issues is matched by exceptional technology skills allowing him to create custom solutions for clients. A "nerd" at heart, Hans likes to get his hands dirty in actual implementation of the solution, especially in those cases where the client has been told that something "can not be done".

Professional Experience

  • 8 years as an associate professor at Utrecht University in the Netherlands
  • 12 years of Research and Development management experience in Nortel’s largest R&D labs in North America and Europe
  • Co-inventor on several patents for innovative telecommunications solutions (Operator Services and "presence management"), and recipient of several Nortel’s "Awards of Excellence"
  • More than 10 years of telecommunications consulting experience as the owner of a consulting firm with major telecommunications equipment and service providers and mid to large size corporations as clients
  • Analysis and optimization of enterprise voice/data networks using proprietary analysis tools developed by Hans; this has consistently resulted in substantial decreases in cost.
  • Works with enterprises to develop new telecommunications infrastructure solutions through comprehensive operational analyses of the current infrastructure
